But we're talking about a bass here, not a marketing concept (or lack of one). It's a pretty decent-looking 5-string bass, not unlike quite a few models on the current market. But I tell you this thing is an absolute animal when you plug it into a worthy bass rig! It's got such depth and bottom end that I simply can't believe it's a passive bass. It easily goes toe-to-toe with a Stingray HH or any other 'hot' active bass. I'm going to keep this one under wraps for a bit while I do a bit of research on my own. It surely is intriguing in more ways than one.
